Calli Popham

Senior Yoga Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Mentor & Certified TRE practitioner.

Calli has been practising yoga and exploring movement as medicine since her young teens.

Her classes have been described as ‘a quiet invitation to return home to the self, when you feel like you’ve lost the keys’ with ‘visualisations and cues that enable you to move with a different perspective and approach’.

Calli weaves slow, liquid, rhythmic, embodied flows & playful, dynamic transitions with heartfelt intention, to a backdrop of funky, eclectic beats!

Fusing yoga, somatics, explorative, primal movement and dynamic play, each class is an adventure through and beyond the tissues.

Through her teaching Calli encourages deep awareness, presence, playfulness and awe of the innate intelligence of the body.

She shares her insight and passion with imagery & visualisations to enable you to drop in to a deeper, more embodied state. Each class offers up an opportunity to enquire and to move in a way that feels good for your unique physiology. Calli’s playful, supportive approach helps students move out of their own way and unlock their infinite power and potential, both on and off the mat.

Calli has been teaching almost 15 years and facilitating teacher trainings for 8, she loves to learn and is inspired & educated in a myriad of disciplines, from body mind centring, skarasvelli yoga, embodied anatomy, the studies of fascia, embryology, the nervous system, the polyvagal theory, neuroscience, tantric philosophy, pre & postnatal corrective exercise and TRE, all of which influence her teaching.
